الأهرامات دي من عجايب الدنيا السبع القديمة، وهي الوحيدة اللي لسه موجودة لحد دلوقتي. اتبنت من حوالي ٤٥٠٠ سنة في عهد الفراعنة.
The Pyramids are among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and they're the only ones still standing today. They were built around 4,500 years ago during the Pharaonic era.
Les Pyramides font partie des Sept Merveilles du monde antique, et ce sont les seules encore debout aujourd'hui. Elles ont été construites il y a environ 4 500 ans à l'époque pharaonique.
هرم خوفو الأكبر
هرم خوفو هو أكبر هرم في مصر، ارتفاعه كان ١٤٦ متر، ودلوقتي ١٣٨ متر. اتبنى من حوالي ٢.٣ مليون حجر، ووزن كل حجر حوالي ٢.٥ طن!
The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest pyramid in Egypt. Its original height was 146 meters, now 138 meters. It was built using about 2.3 million stones, each weighing around 2.5 tons!

نهر النيل هو شريان الحياة في مصر. طوله ٦,٦٥٠ كيلومتر وهو أطول نهر في أفريقيا. المصريين بيقولوا "مصر هبة النيل" لأن النيل هو اللي خلى الحضارة المصرية تقوم.
The Nile River is Egypt's lifeline. At 6,650 km, it's Africa's longest river. Egyptians say "Egypt is the gift of the Nile" because it enabled Egyptian civilization.

Egyptian weddings are huge with lots of guests! There's dancing, singing, and lots of food. The bride wears white, the groom wears a suit.

المصريين بيؤمنوا بالعين (الحسد). عشان كده بيقولوا "ما شاء الله" لما يشوفوا حاجة حلوة، وبيعلقوا الخرزة الزرقاء للحماية.
Egyptians believe in the evil eye. That's why they say "MashaAllah" when seeing something nice, and hang blue beads for protection.

لما حد يزورك في مصر، لازم تقدمله شاي أو قهوة على الأقل. رفض الضيافة مش مهذب. المصريين بيقولوا "اتفضل" كتير.
When someone visits you in Egypt, you must offer at least tea or coffee. Refusing hospitality is impolite. Egyptians say "itfaddal" (please) a lot.

Fasting is from dawn to sunset. Iftar starts with dates and water, then soup, then the meal. Suhoor is before dawn - many people eat foul (fava beans).

فانوس رمضان تقليد مصري أصيل! الأطفال بيمشوا في الشوارع بالفوانيس وبيغنوا "وحوي يا وحوي". كل بيت لازم يكون فيه فانوس.
The Ramadan lantern is an authentic Egyptian tradition! Children walk in the streets with lanterns singing "Wahawi Ya Wahawi." Every home must have a lantern.

✍️ نجيب محفوظ
نجيب محفوظ هو الكاتب المصري الوحيد اللي أخد جايزة نوبل في الأدب سنة ١٩٨٨. أشهر أعماله "ثلاثية القاهرة" (بين القصرين، قصر الشوق، السكرية).
Naguib Mahfouz is the only Egyptian writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature (1988). His most famous work is the "Cairo Trilogy."

📖 طه حسين
طه حسين "عميد الأدب العربي" كان كفيف ومع ذلك بقى من أعظم المفكرين. كتابه "الأيام" بيحكي قصة حياته.
Taha Hussein, "Dean of Arabic Literature," was blind yet became one of the greatest intellectuals. His book "Al-Ayyam" tells his life story.
