Spring
March - May
Spring is the season of new beginnings. Flowers bloom, trees get new leaves, and baby animals are born. The weather becomes warmer after winter.
Summer
June - August
Summer is the hottest season. Days are long and nights are short. It's perfect for swimming, vacations, and outdoor activities.
Autumn / Fall
September - November
Autumn (or Fall in American English) is when leaves change colors and fall from trees. The weather gets cooler and days become shorter.
Winter
December - February
Winter is the coldest season. In many places, it snows and lakes freeze. Days are short and nights are long. Perfect for holidays!

📆 Years
How to Read Years:
1985 → "nineteen eighty-five"
2000 → "two thousand"
2010 → "two thousand (and) ten" or "twenty ten"
2024 → "twenty twenty-four"
Special Terms:
• Decade = 10 years
• The 90s = 1990-1999
• Leap year = Year with 366 days
🏛️ Centuries
💡 A century = 100 years
How Centuries Work:
1st century = Years 1-100
19th century = Years 1801-1900
20th century = Years 1901-2000
21st century = Years 2001-2100 (NOW!)
Remember:
Add 1 to the first two digits of the year!
1850 → 18+1 = 19th century
